Award-winning entertainer, Katie Deal has performed to sold out houses across the US and Canada. A Georgia-born artist, Katie is best known for her authentic country sound. She is the 2016 recipient of the Georgia Country "Artist of the Year" Award, has been nominated multiple times for "Traditional Artist of the Year" by the Georgia Country Awards, and is an honored member of the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame.
As a recording artist and singer-songwriter, Katie has written and performed with top Nashville songwriters: Bruce Burch (hit songwriter for Reba McEntire,) Amanda Colleen Williams (hit songwriter for Garth Brooks,) Brandon Bush (hit songwriter and musician for Sugarland) and John Driskell Hopkins (hit songwriter and member of Zac Brown Band.) Katie is also a frequent soloist for the Atlanta Pops Orchestra.
As an actress, Katie has been featured in two major motion films (Let's Be Cops and Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk), numerous commercials and touring productions. Katie has produced her own theatrical concerts which have toured internationally. She is a budding playwright and co-creator of several theatrical works, including Classic Nashville Roadshow with Jason Petty. Katie holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree from Piedmont College, cum laude and is a proud member of Actor's Equity Association.
As the fourth child, third daughter of Georgia's First Lady Sandra Deal and Governor Nathan Deal, Katie jokingly refers to herself as the "Third First Daughter."
